Not to brag, but we’re located next to some of the best peach orchards around! Why not celebrate?! We will be hosting our annual Peach Festival here at the Lodge and we want you to join in on the sweetness of the day!
This festival takes place once a year at our historic landmark and attracts visitors from all over the region. From young children to those who have been sampling peaches for decades, our Peach Fest offers a chance to enjoy a free family outing while trying some of the most delicious peaches in the country!
Local peach growers will be presenting their carefully tended peaches for visitors to purchase. Peaches are the reason for the season but, our festival will also feature live music, fresh produce, 40+ unique vendors, kid’s activities, drink specials and Robin’s famous peach sangria, a pie eating contest and our well known game…the Peach Pitting contest!
PEACH PITTING- Buy a peach, eat it, and save the pit. Bring your pit over to the game (located on the Cabin Lawn) and try to throw it in a winning cup. 1 try per pit. Miscellaneous prizes will be awarded for those able to land their pit in the cup…maybe even a few free night stays!
PIE EATING CONTEST- Think you can eat a peach pie faster than everyone else at the table? If you do, you’ll win a FREE NIGHT STAY to our Lodge and a goody bag of Pere Marquette Lodge swag. 2pm on our Cabin Lawn. This contest is $15 to participate in. We can only take the first 10 people to register. Register at the main table on the Cabin Lawn.
