What are your prices?
Our prices are based on double occupancy and depend on the day of the week and the time of year. Please call for our Front Desk staff at 618-786-2331 to check in on availability and pricing.

Why won’t my phone work?
We are located in a heavily wooded area surrounded by hills and bluffs. Because of our beautiful surroundings, some cell phones will receive poor signal while at the Lodge. Every room is equipped with a land line so that guests may make calls from their room. Almost all cell phones will get service in town which is located a short 5 mile drive away.

Is there wifi?
Yes, but due to our thick limestone walls, not every room is able to access the wifi. It is available in the Great Room which is open 24 hours a day. Simply log onto the Pere Marquette Lodge network and click through the portal. There is no password necessary.

Is your Restaurant open?
Yes, our Restaurant is open every day of the year including major holidays! To make a reservation, please call 618-786-2331, extension 502. Visit our Restaurant page for more information.

What about smoking and can I bring my pet?
All guest rooms are non-smoking. No pets and/or animals other than service animals are allowed indoors. We love pets and they are more than welcome on our outdoor grounds, such as our winery patio, Lodge terrace, and trails.

What is the room capacity?
Rooms accommodate a maximum of four adults or five people if one is a child. Additional charges apply for more than 2 adults.

What if we need more beds?
Roll-away beds are $10 per night and Pack-n-plays are available at no extra cost.

Can we stay for one night on the weekend?
Yes! We do not require a minimum stay.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations must be made 7 days prior. No penalty with 7 days prior notification. If less than 7 days prior and we are unable to resell, penalty is room & tax. However, there are some circumstances where we will be more understanding of cancelations. Life happens!

What is check-in and check-out times? Can we get early check-in or late check-out?
Check-in time for lodge rooms is at 3:00pm and check-in for cabin rooms is at 4:00pm. Check out time is 11:00am for all rooms. We make every effort to honor early check-in. Depending on occupancy, sometimes we can get you in your room before your designated check in time.

Can I get a specific room?
We guarantee room location as far as lodge, cabin, or handicap. Other room type requests are not guaranteed simply because we do not know if, or when, a specific room may temporarily go out of service.

Are there microwaves or refrigerators in the rooms?
We do not have those amenities in the rooms but we do have a microwave located at our front desk and/or in our Great Room which you are more than welcome to use. We also offer refrigerators for $10 a night.

What is there to do in your area?
Our Lodge itself sits within 8,000+ acres of State Park grounds! Our fantastic location gives you access to miles of hiking, biking, and equestrian trials! We are also located next to the Illinois River where the fishing is a plenty and our boat dock is open to the public! Our grounds include picnic tables, scenic look-outs, shuffle board, a tennis court, an indoor pool, a volleyball net, and our famous life size chess board! Not to mention, our 40+ events we host each year!

Grafton is about a 5-8 minute drive from our Lodge and like our location, has something for everyone! Restaurants, wineries and pubs, boat and jet ski rentals, zip lining, Raging Rivers Water Park, gondolas, river boat cruises, a wildlife preserve, and more!
